The company needed a centralized platform to streamline their operations and offer easy access to real-time insights across different departments.

Background

Fursa Foods is a growing company in the food industry, focused on delivering high-quality, fresh, and packaged food products to customers both online and through retail outlets. As the company expanded, managing its operations across different sectors became increasingly challenging. Their staff numbers increased, product ranges broadened, and they needed more effective ways to manage sales, marketing efforts, and internal operations in real time.

Despite their growth, the existing tools at Fursa Foods were disjointed, with separate systems for staff management, product tracking, sales monitoring, and marketing performance. This made it difficult for management to gain a clear overview of the company's performance and made decision-making inefficient. The need for a centralized dashboard solution that could bring together these key components became apparent.

To address these challenges, Fursa Foods decided to invest in a custom-designed dashboard that could consolidate all their operational data in one place. This would allow their management team to monitor and control staff performance, track product inventory, review sales figures, evaluate marketing efforts, and manage finances,ensuring that all aspects of the business were balanced and functioning smoothly.

Discovery Phase

I worked closely with the Dorsal Foods team to understand their operational challenges, identify key data points they needed to monitor, and define the critical metrics for their business.

Design & Prototyping

The dashboard was designed to be intuitive, with a clean interface that allowed users to easily navigate between sections such as staff management, product inventory, sales reports, and marketing performance. I incorporated a visual balance of data to avoid overwhelming users, making sure the key performance indicators (KPIs) were front and center.

Implementation

Collaborating with the development team, we translated the design into a fully functional web-based dashboard. Special attention was given to responsiveness, ensuring that it worked seamlessly across all devices, including desktops, tablets, and smartphones.

Testing & Iteration

After initial deployment, the dashboard underwent several rounds of user testing with the Fursa Foods team to ensure it met their needs. Feedback was collected and used to fine-tune features, including improving the navigation and adjusting the display of sales and marketing metrics.
